Probably my last email! I present the scheme that quickly breaks down concerning my George KILLINGER. Surely he cannot be of the family I show below. I give my reasons below. You may be relieved that this is likely to be my last post on the topic! Michael KILLINGER who is said to have married Catherine HEILMAN, is said to have done so about 1756. He is supposedly 25, and she 16. OK. That is not rare. They are said to have had four males: Andrew, George, John, Michael. Assuming George (for best argument) was oldest, he would have been born at earliest (and I do believe this is a fair statement) at the tail end of 1756 - after the marriage. Now *my* George KILLINGER (yes, the one the other fellow says is my George is the above one - wrong!) had a daughter Mary who ***married*** in Spring of 1783 at Christ Church, in Philadelphia. Do you get that? From age 0 to having a daughter who marries is all accomplished in 27 years! Fat chance that. No, I now realize that, unless someone has a powerful argument to refute the above logic, the fellow has his data all wrong, and I withdraw my candidate. Thanks, folks, for having been very kind and courteous to me... Vince Summers
