    1. Re: [PALEBANO] Mt. Lebanon Cemetery
    2. Donna, You were way too kind in your assessment of the secretary (Miss attitude), at Mt. Lebanon cemetery. I also have been there twice and was totally amazed at how unprofessional, unhelpful and just plain arrogant this person was. After a considerable amount of pleading, begging, and humbling myself in her almighty presence I was able to view the Index cards that contained a very limited amount of information. I was not permitted to use the copy machine so I had to hand copy all 27 of my relatives info. About half way through making my notes, from across the room this shrill voice sounded, " Don't mix up those cards and keep them in order." I just smiled and did what I was told but somehow "The Wizard Of Oz." movie came to mind and I felt like Dorothy, with the wicked witch of the North standing over me. I knew then I was not in Kansas any more. or even Ohio. No map of the Cemetery or plot locations was made available to me. My advise to any one visiting this medieval realm is to take a box of crispy cream donuts or perhaps a bag of chocolate eclairs or perhaps bake a cake and add a few birthday candles, wear a wet suit or at least a suit of armor, bend over and kiss your butt good bye because when Miss Attitude gives you that, "how dare you interrupt my world," look your blood will freeze. My other advise for information is to check with the Rohland Funeral Home. they have very good records and the Ladies who helped me were very friendly and most helpful. Of course they want your body (it's there business) so don't stay too long. And just a side note; I grew up in Lebanon and by no means is Miss Attitude at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery a reflection of the people there. The people of Lebanon are warm hearted, kind, and very helpful.. John H.
