The 2nd wife born Aug 13, 1786, died Sept 30, 1846, and she is buried beside her husband in the old Methodist graveyard at Milllersburg Hoover, Jacob, settled in the Upper End in 1800. He married July 26, 1759 by Rev.John Elder, to Sarah Sturgeon, born Sept 1739, the d/o Jeremiah Sturgeon. Boyd, Capt. Adam, the s/o John Boyd and Elizabeth Young, was a native of Northampton Co., PA. He died May 14, 1814, was interred in the Presbyterian graveyard, but were moved to the Harrisburg cemetery. He married in 1784 Jeannette Macfarlane, of Big Spring, Cumberland County, d/o Patrick, and granddaughter of James, who came from Ireland in 1717. Mrs. Boyd died early at Harrisburg, leaving one child, Rosanna, who married Hugh Hamilton in 1807 Hamlton, Hugh, s/o John Hamilton and Margaret Alexander was born at Fermanagh, now Juniata county, 30 June 1785. Mr. Hamilton married Jan 6, 1807 to Rosanna, d/o Adam Boyd and Jeanette MacFarlane, born Dec 1, 1789 and died April 17, 1872. Buried at the Harrisburg cemetery Awl, Jacob Michael, son of Jacob and Sarah (Stroh) Awl, he was born Feb 24, 1792, in Paxtang. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. He married April 27, 1824 to Fanny Horning, born 17 Feb 1803, died at Harrisburg, July 12, 1869 Best Wishes, Geri
