I have a copy of the will of John Shay from the Lebanon County Courthouse. The will was filed July 27, 1846. In the will, John speaks of his wife, Barbara, and his seven children. John was born about 1774 and Barbara was born about 1775. He speaks of his seven children and names all of them in his will. They are: Mary, William C., Sarah, John, Elizabeth, Samuel and Thomas. Thomas was born about 1795. If anyone would like a copy of this will then e-mail me directly. The Thomas C. Shay in my family tree was born in 1780.
