    3. This campground could be Mt. Gretna. I don't know if it still exists but I went the as a child. It was church related but I think there was a "camp meeting" area and a public area. They were cottages, built pretty close together - but by cottage I mean they were full summer homes I believe there is a Mt. Gretna town and my father used to that area to a governor's troop (mounted) camp. She lived in Millcreek Twp, Lebanon Co in 1860; so I jumped to a wrong conclusion. I appreciate your help very much. Do you have access to the Lower Heidelberg 1830 Census? I am looking for Henry Zeller, age about 50. That would put him in the "over 45" category with a female in the same category, and whoever else. He died in 1837 at age 56 and is said to be buried in Union Cemetery in Womelsdorf, PA. Thanks again for your help. Do you belong to a commercial genealogy group like Ancestry.com. I've been thinking of joining them. I had a summer home in a campground in Lebanon Co; but I had to give it up. I am almost 90 years old. Now my research depends on the kindness of people like you. 3. No, the campground to which I referred is actually a camground; trailers and motorhomes, most of them paying an annual fee. I am talking about the Cocalico Creek Campground situated just off PA Rte 897 between Kleinfeltersville and Blainsport. Mt. Gretna is another matter, entirely. They are indeed summer houses; some of them are quite substantial. There is a nice restaurant, the Hideaway, and an ice cream place called the Jigger shop. The PA National Guard used to hold a summer encampment there for two weeks, I believe, every summer. Their drills used to attract quite a few spectators, as I remember. That was a long time ago. I grew up in Newmanstown; but I have lived in Florida for the past 33 years. I spent my summers in Pennsylvania to visit my relatives and to do genealogy in the various facilities in the area. Now I am on the verge of becoming a nonagenarian and find it necessary to curtail my activities. So I hope you will indulge me if and when I ask you, from time to time, to be my eyes and legs.
