    3. Merrilee, I read your post and, unfortunately,I don't think I can help you with your particular question, I am hoping you may have some information that might help me. From the Heidelberg Reformed Church records, Schaefferstown: Michael & Susanna MILLER were sponsors at the baptism of Elizabeth Rosenberg (born 16 Jan 1815, bap. 7 May 1815), daughter of Samuel and Maria ROSENBERG. George & Catharina MILLER were sponsors at the baptism of John George Rosenberg (born 18 Feb 1816, bap. 5 May 1816), son of Samuel and Maria ROSENBERG. It has been suggested that Maria Rosenberg's maiden name was MILLER. Her name is sometimes recorded as Mary or Anna Maria but I wonder if she's the Maria Magdelena in your family. Also the name ROSENBERG is sometimes recorded as ROSENBERGER (which is the spelling that has come down through the years). In your research on the Miller family, have you ever come across any Rosenbergs or Rosenbergers? Perhaps they were sponsors for a Miller child or two? I wish I could help you with your dilemna. If I come across anything in the future, I will let you know.
