    1. Re: [PALEBANO] Church Question
    2. Donna, For info about the "Lost Church," see Charles Glatfelter, Pastors and People, Vol. 1, p. 337. Also, E. Grumbine, "Two Dead and Lost Churches of the Swatara," in Lebanon County Historical Society Papers, I (1901), pp. 291-304. The old Swatara Reformed Church, possibly also used by a Lutheran congregation, dated from the 1730s. It was located between Jonestown and Fredericksburg, and was abandoned after congregations were established in the two villages in the 1760s. A church register for the Reformed was purchased in 1751. Had 107 baptisms by Conrad Templeton. Donna, I don't remember if Leb Co Hist Soc had the records. Some of my Seltzers were supposedly buried at the old Swatara church. Anne Shifflet
