I have finally connected my George Long as a son of Joh. Martin Lang. The page I copied from the "History of the Long Family of Pennsylvania" (Long Family Organization of Pennsylvania; 1930) has some info on most of Martin's children, but - as is always the case - only a name for George. Would like to hear from anyone connecting. Martin's children: 1 Joh. Martin Lang (1744 - 1833) & Elizabeth Huber (1751 - 1822) 2 Elizabeth Lang (1772 - ) 2 Eve Catharine Lang (1775 - ) & Jacob Goodman 2 Margaret Lang (1777 - ) & Francis Fox 2 Juliana Barbara Lang (1780 - ) 2 Christina Lang (1784 - ) & Frederick Ney 2 Jacob Lang (1791 - ) *2 George Lang (1794 - ) & Catharine /?/ The short - less than a page - on this family includes the statement: "Indications are that he [Martin] was a grandson of Christian Lang the Emigrant Ancestor in the forepart of this history, but his father's family has not been definitely determined."
