Bill, I do not know anything about Ellenberger or Gingrich, but I am interested in your John Jacob Keller. My gg grandmother was Leah Keller, b ca 1827 in Dauphin or Lebanon Co. She married first William Schultz of Lebanon Co and afterward John Jacob Schaeffer of (I think) Dauphin County. Leah had a brother, David C. Keller who was a physician in Lebanon Co. She may have had another brother named Henry, also a physician, and a sister named Ellen. There is some connection to a Michael Keller of South Hanover Twp, but I don't think he was her father (too old) - possibly her grandfather. It is sort of a long story but if you know more about Lebanon-Dauphin County Kellers and are interested, I would like to correspond with you.
