The Swatara is a location. Around here it is known as the "Swattie" .. a creek that runs through the county. Someone else help me here on the exact locations or length of the Swattie .. don't know if there's an actual township, etc. with that name but do know of the creek ... lots of people used to go there to go fishing when I was working in Annville.
