    3. I am researching the FESSLER's from Lebanon county, PA to Virginia and then to Indiana in 1836 and on into Iowa so if you think we may be searching the same line I would like to share information. I have the book :"Pennsylvania German Marriages" (Marriages and Marriage evidence in Pennsylvania German Churches) compiled by Donna R. Irish; published in Baltimore by Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. 1982. The records cover eastern Pennsylvania from Philadelphia west to Cumberland county during a time period 1710 to 1895 although the majority of the entries fall between 1760 and 1860. I checked this book and did not find George by any spelling. Hannah is not there either. All the entries for Fesler are listed with the double s. The only Ressley's listed were Salome and Susanna. Sorry I could not be of more help. Our Fessler was John George who left Pa about 1827, went to Virginia for a while with his family. He had children born in PA, VA and IA and died in Madison county, Indiana. Please keep in touch if you think we have a connection. Thanks.
