    2. Looked for a Christian K. Bomberger in Civil War database and found none. Sometimes it helps to know more information than just the name, like the Regiment. Down the far right side of the page starting in the columns labeled "No. of farm schedule", "Civil War vet", "Blind", and "Deaf & Dump" are a series of numbers and X's separated by hyphens. These numbers are mostly in the rows for men, but their are some in the rows for women. These numbers are on the rows of children as well as people as old as 72 years. Given all that, I don't believe these numbers have anything to do with the columns they are in, but are curious to understand what they mean. Can anyone help?
