Someone told you that Jackson Township is in Dauphin County. There is, or was, also a Jackson Township in Lebanon County, near or part of Myerstown, PA. I know this because I grew up in Lebanon County and my Father lived in Jackson Township. I would check the Lebanon County Historical Society if you want more information.
