Greetings! I just found out that some of my ancestors located to Lebanon county around 1890-1900 or so. I was hoping someone might be able to give me pointers on strategies for searching Lebanon county records in order to find the date of death for my ancestor, so I can hopefully obtain an obituary & other such information. I'm from neighboring Berks county and I know that the Historical Society here has a large searchable database for cemetery and church records (funerals, baptisms etc.) which sometimes make it easy to find to find this kind of information. I was hoping someone savvy in the ways of Lebanon County might have some tips for me. The family I am interested in is this family (most particularly the father) as recorded in the 1900 census: ed 137, sheet 16, L94, Lebanon County, North Lebanon Township John H Moyer. b. oct 1854, age 45, married 22 years, laborer (brewery)- Owned Home Agnes J. b. Sept 1859, age 40, married 22 years, mother of 4, 4 surviving Thomas, b oct 1882, age 17, Heater (occ) Jennie N. b. aug 1884 Does anybody have any idea what brewery John might have worked at? I know these folks started out in Berks county as Thomas Calvin, Jennie, and another daughter, Mary were all baptized here. If anyone has any tie-ins to this family or can help me find more information, I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you. Todd Moyer
