Looking for the parents of: Samuel Kaufman born Nov.13,1812 died Nov. 30,1842 aged 30 years old Death listed in the Christ Lutheran church records of Berks county. Samuel Kaufman was married to Catherine Loose b-2-18-1821.Samuel and Catherine had a daughter, Maria"Mary" Magdalena Zerbe born in Jackson twp., Lebanon county on 3-16-1843. Samuel died a few months before the birth of his daughter.His widow, remarried a Samuel Peifer and both are buried at the Tulpehocken Trinity Church in Richland,Pa(Lebanon County) as well as Maria "Mary" and her husband, Harrison Zerbe.Does anyone know where Samuel Kaufman is buried?I was told just because his death is listed,doesn't mean he is buried at Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg. He is not listed in the Burials of the new book for the church done by Shirley Brown.Who were Samuel Kaufman's parents? A Sarah Catherine Kaufman was listed for a sponsor for Maria " Mary" Magdalena Kaufman-Zerbe's one child's birth.It was her first child( a daughter) Named Sarah Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Zerbe(born 3-1-1861, died 7-23-1945 ,my 2 nd great- grandmother.Kate was married to Addison Batdorf.Any info on Kaufman line helpful.Thanks!
