Nancy in Indiana < Hi Nancy, I have a deed dated May 18, 1793 from Dauphin County Pennsylvania Deed book "X" pages 172-173-174, in which my g-g-g-g-grandfather John Balsley and his wife, Margaret sold land in Paxton Twp. Burrough of Harrisburg to John Reed of Heidelburg Twp. (this is where my Balsleys had relocated from) Following this is a deed from John Reed and wife to someone else. This is the last of three pages and this page is very faint! I think I can make out wife's name as Elizabeth. I can send you copies if you like.
