Jackie, I will definatley keep you in mind. I would make a good guess and say that the Gettle's in this area are all kin to each other. But since I have only one son named of William Gettle, I can only guess right now. I am going to the Clayton Library here in Houston on Friday and William will be my first project there. I am hoping I can find at least some census records to name his children. For a long time I only speculated that the Gettle's originated from PA after coming here from what I believe will be Germany. Possibly the Stuttgart and or Neu Ulm area of Germany. I hope I have some good luck!
