Just learned that my ancestor from what is now Fredericksburg? Lickdale? (Swatara Gap, Swatara Twp.) froze to death in 1825 on "his way back from Hanover." The USGS came up with Hanover, Northampton Co. or York Co. Any ideas which one? Another county? Any ideas why he would need to go so far in winter? Thanks for your thoughts.
