Hi Donna: I just had a message on last week about this same person. I would sure like to get it straightened out: Here is a question for all you Christ experts. I have found something that I would like some help with. As I have said before, I am searching for a William Christ (whatever the spelling). Recently I found out that his name is William Christ or Christy, born either 7/25/1801 or 7/25/1802. He was the son of a William Christ(y) and Elizabeth Miller, married at Stouchsburg, in 1801. I found a Joh Georg Wilhelm Guseman married to an Anna Catharina Heckin, 11/12/1749 at Stouchsburg. It lists him with the birth records of two children. (Anna Margaretha and Joh George) There is also a George Adam Geiss listed with the birth record of a child. (Heinrich Adam) I found in Strassburger & Hinke that there were two by that name on the Snow Molly, John Cranch, Master, 10/26/1741; Hans Adam Cresman, age 17 and Yerigh Wilhelm Geesman, age 23. Could they be the same two that are at Stouchsburg? I have a Hans Adam and Johann George Christ, at Stouchsburg, as the children of Johannes Christ married to Anna Barbara Muller. I have him listed on the Pa Prelist 7/11/1726. That would mean Adam and George would not have been listed on the ship records because they were not old enough. So who are these people on the Snow Molly? How many early Adam's and George's attended this church? I thought I had things figured out with them and now I am confused. Which Adam and George are brothers at Stouchsburg? Who are my new Adam and Georg or William, which ever name he went by, and who are the Adam and George that went to York. Which two were on the Robert and Alice in 1742? I have alot of information on these people, I just want to make sure I have it with the right people. If anyone knows anything about these people, I would appreciate hearing. I would like to hash this thing out. Thanks, Brenda I am sure we are talking about the same people, maybe you can shed some light on my question and I'll do some more searching and see what I come up with for the name Killian. I know it sounds familiar. Thanks, Brenda
