(I had some ancestors who owned land in the area.) On the subject of the Union Canal, is there a good source of information about the operation of the canal, the employees, employment records, etc.? I have a different ancestor who supposedly worked as a carpenter for the Union Canal. (Perhaps he built locks?) Are there records that I might examine? If so, where? Dave David N.
