Here is some information about Johannes Beamesderfer who was an immigrant and the progenitor of many Beamesderfer's in America. Brickerville is a short distance south of Schaefferstown, in Lancaster County. Johannes Beamesderfer, b. 24 Mar 1712, Germany; d. 3 May 1794, Lancaster Co., PA, married Elizabeth ____, b 11 Feb 1727, d. 11 Feb 1814. Both are buried in the Brickerville Evangelistical Lutheran Churchyard. They emigrated to Pennsylvania from Germany, arriving at Philadelphia in the ship "St. Andrew" on 18 Aug 1750. Children: Maria Elizabeth Beamesderfer, b. 3 Jun 1751, Lancaster Co., PA; d. 2 Nov 1821, Washington Co., VA; m. Johann Martin Hagey, 28 Jun 1768, Brickerville, PA. He was b. 14 Jan 1736/7, near Brickerville, PA and d. 1 Jan 1812, Washington Co., VA. John Beamesderfer, b. 1754, d. 1836 George Beamesderfer, b. 1768, d. 1854, m.
