Hello from Orlando, FL.. I am helping an 85 yr. old gentleman learn more about his grandparents who resided and died (I do believe) in Lebanon, Lebanon Co., PA. William James GLANT (b. 22 Aug 1869 PA - d. 2 Jun 1949 - buried at Ebenezer Cemetery) married Kate E. SHAUD (b. Apr 1873 - d. before the 1930 census- possibly in Lebanon, PA). Date of marriage - 16 Mar 1895 in Lemoyne, Dauphin Co., PA. Have not been successful contacting "LOOK-UP" people - e-mails returned. and the surname look-up SHAUD turns up "nothing." Does anyone have any Ebenezer Cemetery info., books, sources, ANYTHING that these surnames GLANT / SHAUD/ AIL could be checked? If you can give me some sources to contact, or have further info. pertaining to above... please e-mail me.... Donna Glant Terrian dgterrian@earthlink.net

I wanted to send an update to my query posted just yesterday. I have learned so much more about Ralph Leroy Faust thanks to several list members! Name: Ralph L Faust Veteran's Rank: PVT Branch: US Army Last known address: Naval Air Station, 80 Hovey Road Pensacola , FL 32508 Birth Date: 3 Aug 1914 Death Date: 17 Nov 1977 Veteran Service Start Date: 23 Jan 1941 Veteran Service End Date: 17 Mar 1946 Interment Date: 2 Dec 1977 Cemetery: Barrancas National Cemetery (on the Naval Air Station) Buried At: Section 25 Site 562 I was even sent a link showing that he was a crew member aboard a plane that went down during WWII! Thank you so very much for the interest and quick response in finding more about Ralph! He was the only child of Mother Anna V. Brewer from Lebanon County, PA (my Grandfather's sister). His father was Albert Raymond Faust from St. Thomas, PA. Most sincerely, Teresa http://www.flottgenealogy.com PALEBANO-L@rootsweb.com, BREWER-L@rootsweb.com, FAUST-L@rootsweb.com, PAFRANKL-L@rootsweb.com I am looking for any further information on a Ralph Leroy Faust born in 1914, son of Albert Raymond Faust and Anna Brewer. I am looking for any further information on a Ralph Leroy Faust born in 1914, son of Albert Raymond Faust (from St. Thomas) and Anna Brewer (from Lebanon, PA). I believe Albert & Anna divorced after Ralph was born as Albert is married to a Lucy Ella (Unknown) on the 1920 census. Anna died at Mt. Alto, Franklin County, PA in 1918 and Ralph is found living in the Brethren Home in Lancaster, PA in 1920. In 1930 Ralph is boarding and is working as a farm hireling in Lancaster. He joined the military in 1941. This is the last I can trace him. Albert & Lucy's children were Rosalie Vera, Robert E., Chester Carl, and Marian G. -born between 1915 and 1930. Anna Brewer was my Grandfather's sister. Anything on this family is greatly appreciated! Teresa http://www.flottgenealogy.com There are only two lasting gifts that we can give to our children. I just found a great website (read about it in the newspaper this morning). It's www.AnySoldier.com was started by the parents of a soldier from La Plata (area where the Stinnetts came from). The site allows soldiers on deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan to request needed items and give their APO address. I searched for my genealogical family names and found one Wilmer, a female airman posted to Iraq. I also found service persons based in Virginia, and other areas. The kinds of things they need and cannot find are things we take for granted. It's a great idea for a Christmas project that shares our good fortune with others -- and we might find a few cousins. Ann Wilmer

I sure could use some help on the Henry Been, of Bethel; he died May 1802. In 1802 he was in Dauphin Co. because Dauphin Co grew from Lancaster Co in 1786. In the book genealogical register for Lebanon Co. on page 331 gives: Henry Been, of Bethel d May 1803 leaving children: John, Jacob, Henry, Samuel, Abraham, Paul, Mary; md Peter Rupp, Catherine md Christian Walter, Anna, d ptior to 1802, md a Mr. Walter, Elizabeth md Peter Ishleman and Magdalena md Peter Zimmerman. I'm trying to prove that Magdalena Been was my great-great great grandmother. Please help. Ralph from OK
