Several generations of descendents of John Phillip LIEBRICH lived in Lebanon, Lancaster and Dauphin counties. He and his son Nicholas are buried at Zion Lutheran Church in Manheim. Daniel, who lived in Lebanon for several years, moved to Nelson County, VA in 1804. The family immigrated from Germany in 1754, and Nicholas was a Revolutionary War Veteran. I have added translations of several German language articles to the Liebrich web site, which traces the family back to 1150. In Germany, they lived in the BUTZBACH, WETZLAR and WORMS areas. Related Lebanon county families are BERRY, CARMONY, EARLY, CASSEL, RODENBURG, BUCHER andFRITCHEY. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~leebrick Please come visit!
Hi - saw your posting. According to the CD, "Lebanon Valley, Pennsylvania History & Genealogy" by Robert A. Heilman, the following entry was listed in the Dec. 30, 1871 issue of the Lebanon Valley Standard (I copied as it was written): Walter-Krum - In Schaefferstown, on the 16th inst., by the Rev. James A Schultz, Dallas F. Walters, of Lebanon, to Miss Mary C. Krum of Schaefferstown. Lebanon Valley Standard, Feb. 15, 1873 issue (deaths): Krum - On the 27th ult., in Schaefferstown, G. Krum, aged 55 years, 11 months, and 12 days. The following death notices don't fit your time frame but thought I'd pass them on to you anyway. Der Libanon Demokrat, Sept. 19, 1851 issue (deaths): On the 11th of this month, in Millcreek Township, this county [Lebanon], the wife of George Krum, at an age of about 70 years. Der Libanon Demokrat, Feb. 19, 1858 issue (deaths): On the 12th of this month in Millcreek Towhship, George Krum, aged 77 y.ears, 11 months and 2 days. I'm trying to remember the meanings of the abreviations and I think "inst." means the current month and "ult." means the previous month. Hope this has been of some help. That cemetery on route 72 was always just the Cornwall Cemetery - I never heard it called anything else but that doesn't mean it ain't so! I have been there many times buit I can't help you out right now. I live in Chicago. My grandmother was born in Cornwall and families for me that are buried there are Garrett and Jones. Don't know if that will help any. Searching for an obituary for Adam B. SCHROPP, publisher of the Lebanon Daily News who died 31 Aug 1926. Fred Frantz
As I said, my only connection to the Dullabohns is John who married Anna Maria (Mary) Seider on 6 Sep 1834, a/t Tulpehocken Trinity Reformed Church. However, I did find a George D. Dullabahn in the 1920 Lebanon Census. He lived on South 4th St. He was 55, his wife Elizabeth, 47, daughters Serena M.29, Edna C. 22, Edith S. 14, and son George E. 12. This couple, however, does not fit your age group. He was the only George of any spelling of Dullabohn in Lebanon County. Hi Richard, I have a Dullabone/Dullabaum in my tree? The name stick out doesn't it! I have little info on ......it is a George 1890-1973 Lebanon. Married my grandmothers sister Daisy 1905-1981. I believe they had children?.........Do you think he might fit with yours? Jackie Cocoa, FL
Frederick Whitmoyer/Witmeyer/Widmoyer 18 Jul 1817-5 Jun 1880 and wife Rebecca nee Seider/Seiders 25 Apr 1820-2 Aug 1888. Does anyone have any information about this couple? Where are they buried? Their last known place of residence was Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County. Could someone please do a lookup in the Schaefferstown Cemetery inscriptions at the Lebanon Historical Society? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Richard Emlin Reed Wesley Chapel, FL
Schaefferstown seemed like a likely place because both died in Heidelberg Township. Of course, there are other cemeteries in Heidelberg. Unfortunately, I don't have access to them either. Any help is very welcome. My only connection to the Dullabohns is John who married Anna Maria (Mary) Seider on 6 Sep 1834, a/t Tulpehocken Trinity Reformed Church.
