    2. Tony & Sunny Seidel
    3. There is a "History of Sattazahn Evangelical Lutheran Church," written by Francis Wayne Ditzler, Jr.of Jonestown, PA. Don't know where you could obtain a copy however. Check the LDS Library Catalog (on microfiche and on the computer at LDS Family History Centers). I'm a descendant of Adam Satazahn - B: 1736 (spelled Sattazahn, Satazanne, Satteson, etc. over the years), of Bethel (now Union) Twp., Lebanon co. Ditzler says he probably donated the land on which Sattazahn Church was established in the 1750s. My gr=grandfather was Levi Satteson who migrated to Northumberland Co., where I'm originally from. He's generally considered the first of the line in America. I would be happy to exchange info with anyone equally interested in this family. I also have info on KUR/KOHR and am very interested in any info connecting BUCHERs with SATTESONS. Tony Seidel

    1. [PALEBANO-L] Rootsweb Newsletter
    2. Mary
    3. I'm not sure how many of you subscribe to the Rootsweb Newsletter but the newest one just arrived in my inbox a few moments ago and I sat down to read it immediately, as I always do, because of the wealth of information it contains. To my surprise, according to their current statistics, only a paltry 7% of all users who visit the rootsweb sites, or use it's services, pay to support this most noble endeavor! A large chunk of the expenses is borne by the people who are giving us this valuable genealogical resource. I have to wonder how much longer they can afford to do this and have to either charge everyone, or take it down. Now I know times are tough (boy do I know.. I have been layed-off since Dec. 1995 and have to depend on temp work), but how difficult can $5. a month be to support Rootsweb? I pay $10. every other month to get not only a website, a surname site, access to mailing lists such as these, but also the satisfaction of knowing that I'm trying to do my part. It's a good feeling. $5.00 a month -- a little more than that Whopper & Fries; or a couple of cups of coffee; or one and a half packs of cigarettes; or a take-out sandwich or lunch. Okay..I'll get off my soap box now.. Mary

He died Aug. 22, 1821 in Rapho township, Lancaster County. In fact any YOUTZs that are listed would be a big help as there were so few of them at that time. And still not many today. Thanks loads.
