    1. [PALEBANO] thank you
    2. Hi, Just want to say thank you for all the help with the Zion Evangelical Church in Jonestown. Does anybody know if the church births and baptisms around the 1850's are published somewhere? Happy hunting, Sandy

    3. Hi Bev: Just wanted to let you know my 4th Gr Grandfather, William Sawyer sold the land on which Campbellstown is located to John Campbell who set up the town plots, etc. It is land that my William Sawyer patented from the William Penn family prior to 1729. Just thought it might be of some interest to you. 2. Alice L. Beard
    3. Hi List, I need an address for the St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church in Jonestown. Would some kind soul help me with this? I just found out that my grandmother and her brothers and sisters were baptised there and I am hoping that their mother, Kate Liebig Spangler was buried there in 1908. Any help is greatly appreciated. Alice Beard

    2. To all the kind people wishing me a welcome back into the area - we are living in Campbelltown. - husband grew up in Hummelstown and myself in Shellsville. Looking forward to "haunting" many cemeteries in the area. I only started researching my family after we left here in 1968. Made many visits home through the years but they were almost always for the purpose of visiting family. On to genealogy - I have a very old 5x7 photograph of a burned out shell of a church. Written on the back in pencil is "Old Zions Church". I have always thought this was the Zions Church located in East Hanover Twp. Lebanon County. Some of my family attended here years back. Does anyone know if indeed this church burned at one time or if this isn't that Zions, which church would it be? Thanks, Bev Wyld

    3. Thanks for the list of names. Could some of them not be named? My ggrandfather Aaron Long, 1859-1896, was supposed to be buried with his family there and I did not see his name listed. Aaron's grandfather was a Christian Long and his father was Adam Long. I was taken there as a small child (6-8 yrs of age) so I might have been wrong; but my grandmother and mother (Aaron's daughter and granddaughter) always said he was buried there with other family. 2. Down the road about a quarter of a mile behind the church on the right is the new cemetery, I believe they were interred there. Lee

    1. [PALEBANO] Move east
    2. To any person on the list that I might have promised material to - we made the move from Iowa to Penna. this past weekend. All the genealogy material is still in boxes all over the place. It will take me some time to get everything in order again. Please don't hesitate to remind me in a week or two that I have some information to mail out to you. My email address will remain the same. After 31 years we are home again - I can see the mountains from our second story and I smelled chocolate when I stepped outside yesterday! Beverly Walmer Wyld

    3. I also have family that were buried here and was looking for the old cemetery I had been taken to as a small child. If anyone knows where the vault and any surviving church records are now being kept, please let the list know.
