    3. Could this be the same Daniel Miller and his first wife.. Salome??? Or my Daniel's father? Per 1900 Pine Grove Twp Census page 12 A Daniel and wife Elizabeth had two children, Frank born 1885 and Elias born 1883. Daniel was born 2/22/1826 and died 3/14/1901 buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Porter Twp. In 1880 I found him as a widower living with his daughter Jane in Tower City. I will check further records in Pine Grove to see if I can find your Daniel. Karen

    2. Marguerite Crist Calvin
    3. I am very interested in this line, as there is a Guthman connection with my CHRIST line. Also this group came to the area of Fairfield co OH, and some to Franklin co and Delaware co. I have been attempting to trace the lines married into my Christ line, and lo and behold, many of the people I grew up with were from these same lines. I did find a Goodman/Guthman site which had William Goodman. I will check into my files and see if there is an Israel. I do not have this line in the computer yet as I've only been working on it a few months. My own line came to Fairfield co ca 1803-1806, but relatives came later. If you think there's a possibility we could help each other, let me know. Meantime I will check the guthman files. 3. The Daniel Miller (?-1855) that I have was married to Salome Kostenborder (no info on her) they had 8 children that I know of. Isaac (1846-1914), Robert, Jane, Samuel, Edward, Ellen (1853-?), David (killed in Civil War)and Louise (8/18/1843-?). I have a note written by my late father-in-law stating that Daniel and Salome were buried in unmarked graves in the Pine Grove area. That's unfortunately all I know about them. I had always hoped someone researching Kostenborder would have some additional information. Bob __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. 3. Do you have any further info on your Elizabeth Miller Christ? Do you have a Daniel Miller who was married to Elizabeth Houer? They had 2 sons, Frank and Elias... lived in Pine Grove Twp. Buried in Tower City. Both were married previous. Elizabeth is from Fredericksburg/Jonestown area, Daniel is from Tower City. But some say he was son of Abraham of Summit Station who operated the Blue Mt Hotel in 1790s? I am also looking for info on Adam Miller married to Lydia Eckler, John Miller, married to Eliza Eckler, and Hiram Miller married to Ellen Eckler. These three were sisters. Lydia and Eliza lived in Pine Grove Twp, Ellen lived in Upper Bern Twp, Berks Co.
