I'd just like to add my two cents to all of Teri's good work. Teri and her helpers have done one of the best county website jobs I've yet to see. She and they are to be commended for all their time, effort and dedication to help folks research in Lawrence County. If you are looking for people or information in Lawrence County and you haven't taken the time to visit Teri's USGenWeb site, you are truly missing what could be a valuable tool in your research. Don't delay. Do it today. And when you find something useful, don't forget to give Teri some recognition and your thanks. Keep up the good work Teri. What would we do without you? -- Kathleen List Admin ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sanchoinc@aol.com> > Here are a few new things at the Lawrence County USGenWeb site > http://www.rootsweb.com/~palawren
Is Ellwood City in Lawrence County? or both Lawrence and Beaver? I cannot tell from the map that I have. My husband's great grandfather, John Lloyd, came from Wales to the area around 1895 to work in the tin mills. He died within a couple of years and the family returned to Wales. By 1900 his widow had remarried and they came to Mercer county. John Lloyd was buried in an Ellwood City cemetery, but I don't know which one and don't know what county to search. Thank you, Joanne Lloyd
