Can anyone help with the location of subject town ca 1880 where several of my ancestors claimed their residence/birth place ? They used Oreville and Elwood City interchangeably so I assume they were adjacent or at least close to each other. Have scoured both Lawrence County Histories without success. Any help appreciated. I found by doing a search at google.com, this from another researcher's ancestor: "Death 12 Jun 1851, Oreville, Shenango Twp., Lawrence Co., Penn." Not sure it helps, but it might. Good luck! Karen in Michigan
