Does anyone have any information about the TITTEL/TITEL surname in the Lancaster Co, Lebanon Co, Dauphin Co, or York Co, PA area? I am looking for a Johannes TITTEL, E. Hanover, PA on Swatara Creek, from about 1715 to 1748. The name is found spelled TITTEL/TITEL/TITTLE. Johannes is also found as John or Hannes. His wife was Elisabeth. Johannes and Elisabeth were found in Reformed Lutheran church records of Daniel Faulckner in Mill Creek on the Raritan River in NJ in 1716, but were living in PA at the time. I don't know where in PA they were living at that time. They are listed with known Palatines that were in the exodus from Germany of 1709-1710. I haven't found their names listed among the names that came with Gov Hunter, though. Have checked the BOOK OF NAMES, SIMMINDINGER LIST, etc with no luck. If anyone has any information or connection with the TITTELs, I'd appreciate whatever you can share. Thanks, Marjorie Tittle
