I also certainly appreciated all of the research tips given to Penny. They were most helpful. I have used some of the suggestions in the past, by mail only, and gotten a lot of helpful information. I have one question, though,One of the posters mentioned that the lchs has family files...where on the site would I find a list of what they have? I even emailed lchs directly and got a prompt reply but it didn't answer my question. I have seem and used the list of family files on the Mennonite site, also a great site. Thanks to all from me also. Sue Lupinacci, researching Dibeler/Deibler, Bierbower, Books and Albright in Lancaster County and surrounding areas. For family files go to Lancaster History.org. Click on Collections & select Library. Choose the top item "What's in the Library" & scroll down to Family Files. They suggest searching the library catalog to see if a family file exists for a particular surname.
