I'm searching for the dob and dod for Martin and John Barr or Bear of Lancaster Co.  Both purchased land in Washington Co. MD, and may have lived there for a time, but apparently did not remain there.  Martin purchased land in 1787 in MD and John had land there he sold to his sons in 1818.  I'd like to know how or if they were related. I'm not sure if Martin was back there (or had never left) by the 1790 census in Lancaster.   Richard
