    3. Thank you Mary Ann.  I have been using the long weekend to do some research, and have now become more interested in knowing if Mary Ann Funk is related to Bishop Christian Funk, who was responsible for the "Funkite" Mennonite movement.  Regarding Jacob Ulmer, I am obtaining obituaries from Louisville, KY German newspapers, and church records which will should be helpful. My primary conundrum for now - Are my Jacob Ulmer and the Jacob Ulmer who married Mary Wolf the same person.  I appreciate having this listserv available, and may post again when I have a more specific question. Thanks again for your help!   From: "palancas-request@rootsweb.com" <palancas-request@rootsweb.com> To: palancas@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, September 5, 2011 3:00 AM Subject: PALANCAS Digest, Vol 6, Issue 59 Today's Topics:   1. It would be very helpful to narrow down searches. Seeking information on my ancestors Jacob Ulmer and Mary Ann Wolf. Mary Ann's father was Benjamin Wolf and mother was ? Funk. I have been at a dead end with my Ulmer family for more than 15 years. Recently, we came across an old photo of Mary Ulmer-on the back it noted that she was Mary Ann Wolf, Jacob's wife. Her father was Benjamin Wolf and mother's last name was Funk. I found this family on Ancestry.com living in Lancaster PA. I had never heard of a connection with Lancaster in the past. I know nothing more than that about this Jacob Ulmer, but would love to know more. My Ulmer family has lived in Louisville KY for several generations. There is some connection with Cincinatti as well. Any help/guidance is appreciated.   Thanks,   Christi Ulmer   -------------------------------   To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PALANCAS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------ To contact the PALANCAS list administrator, send an email to PALANCAS-admin@rootsweb.com.
