Hi Richard,       You might want to check out the web page of the Conestoga Area Historical Society at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pacahs/index.htm      The 1790 census is on this page but the only Barr is a Jacob Barr.  At this time Conestoga Twp. included what is now Pequea Twp.  There are other things you might check on this web page, like the various histories of the Twps. covered by our historical society; Conestoga, Manor, Martic, Pequea, Millersville and Washington Boroughs.  The Google search engine on this page now works, so check it out.                                                                                                  Jim http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pacahs/index.htm From: Richard Allen <allen.richard74@yahoo.com> To: palancas@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, September 1, 2011 11:49 AM Subject: [PALANCAS] Martin and John Barr or Bear of Lancaster C0, the later of Conestoga T in 1818 I'm searching for the dob and dod for Martin and John Barr or Bear of Lancaster Co.  Both purchased land in Washington Co. MD, and may have lived there for a time, but apparently did not remain there.  Martin purchased land in 1787 in MD and John had land there he sold to his sons in 1818.  I'd like to know how or if they were related.
