Many people don't know there *are* back issues of emails....or even that there *is* an email list -- let alone that archives of marriages of a list of how many (20+?) years worth of newspapers are on it! If you google a name, does this list come up, or do the list archives? No. But US Genweb or Rootsweb county pages might. No one expects people to know how to put stuff online themselves - but then, they don't have to. Because that is what Rootsweb and their volunteers are for. Obviously this list moderator doesn't know that? They could have suggested this themselves.... Lynn
