Debbie: Thanks for the Abraham Sweigart lookup.? What you found helped disprove something for me rather than prove it, which was what I was counting on.? I had a marriage record of over 200 years ago which in recent times was transcribed inaccurately?as "Abraham Sweigart" in the Lancaster records, but which I had thought was a couple from my family groups.? The problem seems to be with transcribing difficult to read script, that sometimes gets permanently transcribed in type into a different surname, or in some cases a surname that never existed.
