Nancy May I so bold to ask for a lookup in your book. Thoudand Names of Immigrants in PA 1727-1776 by Rupp. I am researching the surname MOOMEY. During that period it was also spelled MUMMA/MUMMAW/MUMU/MUMMY/ etc/ I believe the fathers name was John George, George or Lenhart or many even John. I believed they might have come over on the ship Merchant. I believe it was before 1731. Thanks so much for your help. Avie **************Need a job? Find employment help in your area.
