Shelley, What a great job of rescuing this wonderful photo album - I sure wish it was my family. I just wanted to make a quick correction to the info about Corinna Snodgrass - in case anyone is interested. Corinna nee McConkey married Alexander Snodgrass, not George, in June of 1854. George was actually an "adopted" son (I don't know if there was an official adoption, but he ended up taking the Snodgrass name.) George was born George Sheckenbaugh and, after his father died and his mother remarried, George and his sister, Rebecca, are found at young ages (1880 census shows them as 11 and 13 respectively) in the Snodgrass household. I have done a bit of research on this because Rebecca would marry Goerge Schum and become the beloved mother of my maternal grandmother. Mrs. George Snodgrass would be, according to my research, Maria Elizabeth Fulton, born in 1870. I show hope this album finds its family. Thank you.
