Joseph Powell is not listed in the index of Lancaster wills (1729-1850). He is also not listed in the index of those who died intestate. Will abstracts (1729-1819) are available online at the following site: http://www.usgwarchives.org/pa/lancaster/wills.htm When you open the file, you will first find an alphabetical list of entries. Note the date given for your John Powell.
