There were Brunners who lived in Frederick Co. MD in the late 1700's. Their home is still standing. It is called the Schifferstadt (sp) named for their hometown in Germany. Would you know of a Sarah Bruner (Brunner) who married a Benjamin Franklin Miller (born c.1810?- 1882) in Perry County. He was originally from Lanc. Co, but lived in Perry County as an adult. I thought that maybe she could have also been from Lanc Co since I am having no luck finding her in Perry County before her marriage to my gg-grandfather Miller. They married circa 1848-50 - I only know this because they were listed on the 1850 census. (He had been married before to Amelia Baker who died in the late 1840s.) Sarah Bruner Miller was born circa 1815-18 and died in 1892 in Perry County (I found her will). I have some information about their children, but as you can see I have approximated the dates of both of their births and their marriage and deaths because I have very little information other than what was on the census'. Have you ideas on how and where to find them? Miller is such a common name that it has been hard to locate information about them. Thanks for your help. -Darlene On Feb 9, 2009, at 8:06 AM, Daniel E Weinhold wrote: > Dear Donald & Jeanine, > > Thank you for sharing. > > I noticed the surname BRUNNER with in your listing, like wise the > interest in Penna.
