    3. Here is a newspaper article showing as early as 25 November 1825 that Abraham Barr Sr. (and others) were applying for relief from creditors. The number of Sheriff's sales in the paper at this time makes me wonder if there was a money panic going on. Can anyone shed any light? I also don't know what the asterisk means.
