Janell ~ My computer's been down and I'm just getting to my emails. When I saw Lampeter mentioned, it caught my attention. I have traced my ancestors back to Lampeter in about 1690. I can't seem to verify it - it may be that they landed there and moved on to Lancaster because those in Lancaster can be found. The ancestor's name is Peter Jorde/Yordy and his wife was Magdalena. Since I live in Texas, it's difficult to get to Lampeter to look for information. Do you live in that area? Where can I go to see the replies that you received about Lampeter (I just joined the Lancaster Historical Society)?
