Wed., April 5, 1843 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: BAUSMAN.-Departed this life on Thursday, the 23d ultimo, Miss Henrietta BAUSMAN, daughter of the late William BAUSMAN, Esq. dec'd, after a painful and protracted illness of several weeks, which she bore with christian fortitude and resignation. [The brief tribute continues but is not transcribed here.] WILSON.-In Columbia, on the 28th ult., Mr. William WILSON, hatter, aged 33 years. BAILIE.-At Napoleon, Arkansas, on the 20th February, suddenly, in the 26th year of his age, Mr. George Washington BAILIE, son of Mr. Samuel BAILIE, of Marietta, Lancaster county, Pa. GIBBS.-On the 30th ult., Mr. Henry GIBBS, of this city, aged 54 years, 10 months, and 23 days. DONNELLY.-On the 1st inst., Mr. Owen DONNELLY, of this city, in the 85 year of his age. CARPENTER.-On the 28th ult., at her residence in Leacock twp., after a short but severs[sic] illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, Miss Mary CARPENTER, in the 62d year of her age. Her remains were interred on Thursday last, in the Family Burial Ground, near Earlville, attended by a large concourse of relations and friends.
