KIEFFER.-On Sunday evening, April 30, Clara [KIEFFER], youngest daughter of Christian KIEFFER, Esq., aged about 11 months. SANDERS.-On the 23d ult., Mrs. Catharine SANDERS, wife of Mr. Hugh SANDERS, of Columbia, in the 44th year of her age. BURKHOLDER.-On Saturday, the 5th April, in Leacock township, Mr. John BURKHOLDER, aged 39 years, 10 months, and 17 days. HARTMAN.-On Monday evening, April 24th, in East Lampeter, Mr. Christian HARTMAN, in the 86th year of his age. HULL.-On Saturday last, At New Holland, Mr. Wm. HULL, of consumption. The deceased was a young man deeply respected. His loss is one that his numerous friends will greatly deplore. STRICKLER.-Near Columbia, on the 4th inst., Mrs. Barbara STRICKLER, wife of Mr. Joseph STRICKLER. BAER.-On the 4th inst. at Elizabethtown, Dr. Reuben N. BAER, U. S. N. aged 23 years. Dr. BAER was rising rapidly in the estimation of the great and the good of his profession. After a few years' study he passed an honorable examination before the Board of Naval Examiners and became Surgeon of the U. S. Navy. He soon afterward became the assistant teacher of anatomy in Professor M'Clintock's Anatomical School at Philadelphia. BRYAN, of this city, aged 1 year, 11 months and 4 days. SWENTZEL.-In Shrewsbury, York county, Pa. on the 6th inst. Mrs. Elizabeth SWENTZEL, formerly of this city, in the 67th year of her age. HILING[?].-On Wednesday last, Mrs. Magdalena HILING[?], aged 85 years and 6 months. FRANCISCUS.-In this city, John FRANCISCUS, in the 25th year of his age. NAUMAN.-Suddenly, in this city, on Sunday the 14th inst. of Congestive Fever, Mrs. Christina NAUMAN, wife of Mr. Charles NAUMAN. Wed., May 24, 1843 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: DUNLAP.-In Leacock township, on Thursday, the 18th inst. Isabella Rebecca [DUNLAP], daughter of Andrew and Mary DUNLAP, aged 7 years, 7 months and 13 days. WITMER.-May the 17th ult. at the residence of her mother, in West Strasburg twp., Miss Ann Elizabeth WITMER, of the disease of the lungs, in the 13th year of her age. DAWSON, in the 43d year of his age. JACKSON.-On the 10th instant, in Colerain township, General James JACKSON, in the 82d year of his age.
