    3. Wed., Oct. 5, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: HENSEL.-In Martic township, on the 14th ult., Mr. Wm. HENSEL, Sr. in the 90th year of his age. Mr. H. was a Soldier of the Revolution, and a long resident of this City. Wed., Oct. 12, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, No Deaths Wed., Oct. 19, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: COOPER.-Yesterday afternoon, Wm. COOPER, after a lingering illness, in the 71st year of his age. His friends and acquaintances, are respectfully invited to attend his funeral tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, at 3 o'clock. VOORHIS.-On the 18th inst. Ann Elizabeth VOORHIS, eldest daughter of Peter V. S. VOORHIS, dec'd., aged 17 years. The friends of the family are invited to her funeral this afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the residence of her Mother. MONTGOMERY.-On the 2nd inst., in Columbia, Milvira M. [MONTGOMERY], consort of Moses MONTGOMERY, and daughter of the Hon. Jacob GROSH, of Lancaster Co., in the 29th year of her age. NEFF.-In the borough of Alexandria, Huntingdon county, Pa., on Tuesday, 4th inst., in the 44th year of his age, Henry NEFF, Esq., Postmaster of that place, and a member of the Presbyterian church. [A short tribute follows which is not transcribed here.] Wed., Oct. 26, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: GILL.-On the 21st inst., Miss Caroline Augusta GILL, daughter of Mr. Benjamin D. GILL, of this city, aged 20 years 8 months and 20 days. BULL.-At his residence in Churchtown, Lancaster County, on Tuesday, the 18th inst., Levi G. BULL, in the 23d year of his age. The deceased, on the Sunday preceding his death, was returning with a friend from church, in a curricle and when within a short distance of his dwelling some accident occurred, and the horse commenced kicking, and struck him upon the lower jaw, fracturing it in two places. He lingered until Tuesday, when inflammation of the brain took place, occasioning death. Mr. BULL was a remarkably promising young man, just entering upon the cares and duties of life, and his untimely death has brought the most poignant anguish to relatives and the nearest and dearest in life, and spread sorrow among a large circle of friends. HOUSTON.-On Sunday, the 9th inst., at his residence in Salisbury township, Samuel HOUSTON, Esq., in his 70th year.
