    3. Wed., Nov. 3, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 2: MOORE.-Suddenly, on Sunday night the 23d ult., Mrs. Lydia [MOORE], wife of Dr. Geo. MOORE, of Columbia aged 36 years. ERBEN.-On Tuesday the 21st ult., after a protracted illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, Mrs. Tryphenia ERBEN, relict of the late John ERBEN, in the 55th year of her age. Wed., Nov. 9, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: EABY.-Another Revolutionary Hero Gone to His Long Home. On the 2d inst., John EABY, Sen'r, of Leacock township, in the 85th year of his age. The deceased took up arms and marched in defense of his country in the 19th year of his age. He has been during his life an estimable industrious and useful citizen. His loss will long be regretted by a large number of relations and friends. May peace be with his ashes, and eternal life his reward. KUHNS.-On Saturday evening last, Mr. George KUHNS, in the 53d year of his age. KAUFMAN.-On Friday last, in Manheim township, Abraham KAUFMAN, in the 23d year of his age. Wed., Nov. 16, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: MELLINGER.-On the 29th ult. at his dwelling in Lampeter township, Martin MELLINGER, a well known and respected elder of the Mennonist persuasion, in the 80th year of his age. Wed., Nov. 23, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, No Deaths Wed., Nov. 30, 1842 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: BROWN.-Died, in Manheim borough, on Sunday morning last, Jacob BROWN, a Soldier of the Revolution, in the 88th year of his age. Mr. BROWN served his country during the whole of the Revolutionary War-- was for a period Recruiting Sergant under Captain (afterwards General) Heister,--and was present at the battles of Bunker Hill, Brandywine and Monmouth, and at the crossing of the Delaware. For the last fourty years of his life he resided in Manheim borough, and was resepcted by his neighbors as a good citizen and upright man. RUDY.-On the 21st inst., Mr. John RUDY, of West Earl twp., Lancaster county, in the 88th year of his age. The deceased served a tour in the revolutionary war, as a soldier, against foreign oppression, at a time when it tried true American blood. Through his whole life, he was sober, industrious and beloved. His loss will long be a lesson to modern pretensions, and our county never be in want of Patriots.
