I'm seeking any information on the descendants of a William Dean/Dane/Dehn who was born about 1801, very probably in Earl Township, Lancaster Co., PA. In 1819-1826 he was involved in the settlement of his father's estate which included 12+ acres formerly in Earl now in Cocalico Township. In 1826 William Dean, Sadler, was one of the grantors of 222+ acres located partially in Earl and partially in Cocalico Townships. William Dehn and his wife, Susan, were the parents of Adam, baptized Aug. 14, 1827 at the Bergstrasse Lutheran Church in Ephrata. I have nothing after that on William. William's father, Caleb Dean/Dane, died 21 Mar 1819 probably in Earl Township. Caleb and his wife, Maria (maiden name Marlin), were married 16 Feb 1785 by the Rev. John Waldschmidt, minister of the German Reformed Church in southeastern Pennsylvania. They are buried in the cemetery at the Bergstrasse Lutheran Church in the borough of Ephrata, then in Cocalico Township. Their gravestones bear the following inscriptions: Dean, Caleb 7/12/1765-3/21/1819 and Mary, consort of Caleb 1/12/1763-3/6/1807. When Caleb's estate was settled in 1822, Caleb was survived by two children: William and William's older sister named Mary (1798-1875) who was married to William Werntz (1792-1855). I have more information on William's ancestors which I would like to share. I need information on his descendants, especially male Dean descendants.
