Looking for some help in idenifying certain Millers in Lancaster Co., Pa. I'm trying to determine if any of them were related to my David Miller b.c1744 and was in Fayette/Washington Co., Pa. in 1780's before going to Nelson Co., Ky. in 1795. There are indications that he might have come from or through Lancaster Co. on his way west. He was married (probably in mid 1770's) to Deborah Zook/Zug who was daughter of Peter Zug who was son of Ulric Zug. The Zug's lived in Manheim Twp. and Warwick Twp. and Peter was baptized at Conestoga Congregration of Brethren Church in 1747. The Lancaster Co. Millers of interest are: >Jacob Miller who died 1793 in Manheim Twp. with wife Mary Agnes and children George, Catharine (w/o George Sohm), Jacob, David, John and Barbara (w/o Christopher Weisert). Really would like to know more about this family. >Peter Miller born 1740 Wales, married Catherine Rhodes c1762, went to Westmoreland Co. and died 1777 in Rev. War. Was he the Peter Miller shown on Warrick Twp. tax lists 1771 and 1772? His orphaned children were adopted by John McKibben and Oliver Heavenhill. >John Miller of Lancaster Co. who had 1773 patent application for 300 acres North of Youghiogeny in Westmoreland Co.(in now Fayette Co.). Can anyone pinpoint this John MIller in Lancaster Co.? >John Miller who died 1776 in Cacalico Twp. with wife Isabella Millerand sons Abraham, David, John and Tobias. >David Miller who sold property 1783 in Lancaster Burrough and moved elsewhere. He appears on 1779 tax list. Looking for any clues that might tie any of these Millers to my David Miller (or rule them out). Thanks, Art Miller, Louisville
