Wed., May 5, 1841 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: MINICH.-At Landisville, on Wednesday last, Mr. Jacob MINICH, Sen. after a lingering illness, which he bore with Christian resignation, in the 67th year of his age. The following Friday his remains were deposited in a neighboring burying ground, attended by a large concourse of weeping relatives and friends--on which occasion the Rev. G. W. Glessner preached an appropriate and feeling discourse from Collossians[sic] IIIc., 4v. The deceased was a worthy citizen of said neighborhood. The poor have lost a friend, as his heart and hand were always open to relieve the wants of the needy; and his hospitable kindness will be shared no more. Peace be to his ashes, until the morning of the resurrection. MINICH.-Yesterday morning, at the late residence of his father, Mr. George MINICH, of consumption, son of the above named, aged about 20 years. his funeral is to take place on Thursday (tomorrow) morning at 9 o'clock, from said residence. Wed., May 12, 1841 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: SHAFFNER.-On the 3d inst. William [SHAFFNER], youngest son of Mr. John SHAFFNER, of this city, aged about 10 months. HAMBRIGHT.-On the 7th inst. Gundaker B. [HAMBRIGHT], youngest son of Mr. Henry HAMBRIGHT, of this city, aged about 15 months. DUFFIELD.-In Philadelphia, on the 24th ult. Dr. William B. DUFFIELD, in the 72d year of his age. MUHLENBERG.-On the 1st inst. Mrs. Mary Catharine MUHLENBERG, widow of the late Rev. Dr. Henry MUHLENBERG, of this city, aged 84 years, 4 months and 10 days. HENDRICKSON.-On the 4th inst. Okey HENDRICKSON, Esq. of Mountjoy, aged 62 years. Mr. H. was an old and highly respectable citizen, and greatly esteemed by all who knew him. CAMERON.-Very suddenly, on the evening of the 7th inst. John CAMERON, Esq. of this city in the 45th year of his age. Mr. CAMERON was one of most enterprising citizens, and long known as being connected with the Pioneer and of lines of Stages and Cars. His remains were taken to Harrisburg, and there deposited in the "narrow house" in the presence of many friends and relatives. Wed., May 19, 1841 Lancaster Examiner & Herald, Deaths, p. 3: FLICK.-On the 17th inst. after a long and lingering illness of pulmonary consumption, which he bore with Christian patience and resignation, Mr. Henry N. FLICK, of this city, in the 29th year of his age. Mr. FLICK was a steady and industrious man, a good citizen, a kind parent and husband, and has left a wife and several small children to mourn their irreparable loss. His funeral will take place, from his late residence in South Prince Street, this afternoon, at 2 o'clock. his friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.
