WINCHESTER.-On the 28th ult. after a short illness of inflammation of the brain, at the residence of David Bair, Esq. Conestoga Centre, Lancaster County, Pa., Elijah [WINCHESTER], son of Steven WINCHESTER, Esq. of Jersey Shore, Lycoming county, Pa. in the 17th year of his age. For one of his years, he had made many friends, who mourn his early death. PARKE.-In the city of Philadelphia, on the 25th ult. Joseph G. PARKE, Esq. aged about 47 years. BARTON.-On Saturday evening the 29th ult., after a long and painful illness, Mr. Thomas B. BARTON, of this city, in the 82d year of his age. BEAR.-In Springville, Lancaster county, Pa., on Sunday the 30th of May, Mr. Jacob BEAR, in the 49th year of his age, after a long and protracted illness of the dropsy, which he bore with Christian fortitude, and died in the full assurance of a glorious immortality. SCHREINER.-On the 31st of May, 1841, Mrs. Elizabeth SCHREINER, wife of Mr. Martin SCHREINER, Sen. of this city, aged 76 years, 1 month and 18 days. The deceased lived a pious life, was beloved by all, and in her death the poor have lost a friend.
