Hi Richard, Yes there were two Trinity Lutheran Churches in Lancaster County, one in Lancaster City and the other in New Holland. Records for both churches were first printed in the Proceedings of the Pa. German Society. I think both were listed in the records done by Wright called, "Lancaster County Church Records of the 18th Century", a multi-volumn series published about 15 or 20 years ago. The Lancaster County Historical Society has records for both churches in varied transcriptions, the Wright material, original records, the German Society material, etc. Jim The Conestoga Area Historical Society http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pacahs/index.htm The Google Search engine now works. ________________________________ From: Richard Allen <allen.richard74@yahoo.com> To: palancas@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, December 21, 2010 6:31:10 PM Subject: [PALANCAS] Two different Trinity churches in Lancaster Co.? (in 1700's) Were there two separate churches with the name of "Trinity" in Lancaster Co. back in the 1700's? One in New Holland, and the other one in the city or boro or Lancaster? If so, where were the ones for the one in New Holland transcribed?
